His Kingdom come

Our calling is to be a family of Christians who strives to accomplish the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by ministry to the spiritual, faith, and social needs of our Church and our Community.

That sounds like a lot, and it is.

We live in a complicated world, and most days it seems well beyond our reach to understand what it even means to carry out God’s work.

What makes it possible for us to be in the kingdom-building business is knowing and believing that in the Great Commission Jesus calls us out into the world to be Him, promising that he is with us always. When we do take action, we are His arms and hands, His legs and feet, and suddenly this calling to minister to the spiritual, faith, and social needs of our neighbors is possible because it is not us at work; it is the work of the living Christ through us.
