Sharing our gifts

Gifts come in two forms – those you were given and those you give. Each has to do with the other. The work of the church is to be Christ in the world doing the things He did and, through the church, continues to do.

Your financial gifts to the church come from the use of the talents God has given you. When you place them at God’s service in the world through your giving, you honor God with their use. When you give you build needed houses, feed hungry mouths, read good stories to little ears who need to hear them, heal bodies that need to be made whole, and maintain a safe facility where the faithful gather for worship and fellowship before they go out into the world to do those things.

Our work as a part of the Body of Christ is done through the gift of your gifts. Thank you for sharing.
